Liverpool singer-songwriter Jamie Webster has released “Small Town Life,” the latest single from his forthcoming fourth studio album, Running Round The Sun, due September 4, 2026 on Modern Sky UK. The single arrives with a video shot on location in Liverpool by director James Slater, gathering a cast of familiar faces from Webster’s home city, including actor Ricky Tomlinson, actor Paddy Rowan, and former Everton Women and England international footballer Toni Duggan.

A radio-friendly, anthemic rocker, “Small Town Life” continues the themes of community and everyday resilience that have defined Webster’s songwriting since his breakthrough. Webster has described the track as a reflection on the ordinary lives and ordinary places that shaped him. “It’s about the beauty you can find in ordinary places and ordinary lives,” Webster says of the song and its accompanying visual.

“Small Town Life” follows lead single “Just Begun” and features on the tracklist for Running Round The Sun, a 14-track album recorded at Rockfield Studios in South Wales and Mission Sound Studios in New York with returning producers Dave Eringa and Tim Cunningham. The album follows Webster’s 2024 release 10 For The People, which reached the Top Five of the UK Official Album Charts, and a year that saw Webster perform to 32,000 people in his home city of Liverpool.

Canadian Dates Supporting Billy Bragg

Webster heads to Canada this July for a run of dates alongside British folk-punk icon Billy Bragg, marking his first appearances in the country supporting Bragg’s 2026 North American Tour:

July 9–12 — Winnipeg, MB — Winnipeg Folk Festival
July 16 — Ottawa, ON — Ottawa Bluesfest, LeBreton Flats

The Canadian dates follow Webster’s 15-date UK headline tour this September in support of Running Round The Sun, opening September 5 in Southampton and closing at the Isle of Man’s Villa Marina Royal Hall on September 29.

Webster’s story is one American and Canadian music fans should know. He first came to international attention in 2019 when he performed for an estimated 50,000 Liverpool FC supporters in Madrid’s Plaza Felipe II ahead of the Champions League Final. That moment launched a career that has since produced four albums, multiple UK chart entries, and a live reputation that consistently punches above its billing.
