Folk/Psych Singer Al Nicol’s New Single
“You And Me” (Feat. Erin Rae)
Out Today
Nashville singer-songwriter Al Nicol (a/k/a Alex Nicol) today releases his newest single “You and Me” (feat. Erin Rae) via Ditto Music. A classic, pastoral love song written in the glow of Nicol’s young marriage, “You and Me” soars on the meshing of the singer’s blissful timbre and Rae’s angelic tone. “I sat down to write a song about true love and this is what unfurled,” says Nicol. “True love ain’t always easy but it sure is worth it. True love is cosmic.”
Produced by Hiss Golden Messenger’s MC Taylor, the track will appear on Nicol’s next full-length album due to be released later this year. In addition to Erin Rae’s guest vocals, backing musicians on the track feature members of Bonny Light Horseman. The single follows Nicol’s 2024 viral hit, the mesmerizing “Bridge Back to Me (acoustic)” which has earned over a million streams and 5,000+ creates on TikTok.
Nicol has announced a series of U.S/Canada tour dates scheduled for this fall. More dates will be announced soon.
