February 4 – Acclaimed Actor & Singer/Songwriter Alicia Witt stopped by The Queen Latifah show to perform her newly released single “Consolation Prize.” Watch her performance here: http://bit.ly/1yHNrID

“Consolation Prize” will appear on her Ben Folds-produced debut studio album Revisionary History out April 7. Pre-order available here: http://bit.ly/1zKeF5x

Witt is also currently appearing in a featured role on Showtime’s ‘House of Lies’ as Maya Lindholm, a brilliant and free-spirited engineer who gives Marty (Don Cheadle) and team plenty of trouble – and an unexpected eyeful – when they try to get her to play nice with a former colleague.

Revisionary History is full of songs that deal in themes of heartbreak, loyalty and the amazing power that comes with finding your own voice —and using it. “This record is probably the most personal thing that I’ve put out,” says Witt, who released a self-titled EP in 2009 and the full-length Live at Rockwood in 2012. Both releases happening in between parts in films and on TV in an acting career that began with her debut in the David Lynch sci-fi classic Dune in 1984, when she was 7.
