Brooklyn SolarWorks, the Brooklyn based renewable energy company known for their modular solar canopies, designed for Brooklyn rooftops, has confirmed the opening of a new 5,500 sq. ft. solar installation warehouse in Gowanus, Brooklyn. To launch the new space Brooklyn SolarWorks is throwing a party to benefit relief efforts in Puerto Rico and commemorating Hurricane Sandy. Keen on working with their local community BSW works on educating and providing renewable energy locally while spurring global action by granting access to renewable energy for those in need. Prior to the opening party, Brooklyn SolarWorks is hosting a Kick Off Party for the 21st Annual Gowanus Open Studios, where artists in the Gowanus Community showcase their work.

Warehouse Warming: Remembering Sandy and Supporting Relief for Puerto Rico
The addition of 5,500 square feet is celebrated as a remembrance of Hurricane Sandy and a reminder to support the relief efforts that are currently ongoing in Puerto Rico after devastating Hurricane Maria. Food and refreshments will be served. Brooklyn SolarWorks took part in Resilient Power an organization that is collecting surplus solar panels for Puerto Rico. Brooklyn SolarWorks stays true to their motto of providing access to clean renewable energy for everyone.

21st Annual Gowanus Open Studios Kick Off Party
Brooklyn SolarWorks is co-hosting the Kick Off Party for 21st Annual Gowanus Open Studios, a free annual event where artists in the Gowanus neighborhood open their studios to showcase their art, meet the public, teach the process of art-making, and share a bit of their lives as artists. The evening will be filled with amazing artwork, stellar views of Gowanus, good music, tasty wine, and wonderful friends.
