New York, NY – November 29, 2018 – Ian Fitchuk, an award winning writer/producer signed with Concord Music, Publishing recently took home Album of the Year at the 2018 CMA’s for Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves on which he co-wrote seven tracks and co-produced. In addition to his writing/producing, he is also an incredible multi-instrumentalist and has played on just about every record in Nashville. On Golden Hour—which reached number one on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and number four on the Top 200—Fitchuk played banjo, bass, drums, electric guitar, juno, keyboards, percussion, piano, synthesizer bass, vocoder and the Wurlitzer.
Possessing a keen ear for crafting melodies Fitchuk‘s studio work ranges from singer-songwriter and Americana, to pop, rock, country music and the occasional gospel track. He has written and produced with Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Andrew Combs, Lucie Silvas, Jacob Whitesides, Mindy Smith and Drew Holcomb among others. In recent years, he has also collaborated with artists as diverse as James Bay, Cam, Kesha, Brothers Osborne, Shania Twain, Shawn Mendes, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Amy Grant, Jake Bugg and Buddy Miller. He recently began composing for TV, including a track featured in ad for Google and several songs in the prime time hit, Nashville on ABC.
