Watch their video for “Kitchen Stories” from latest album Rooftop Sessions here.

The essence of their music is a clarity – and often simplicity – of ideas that they develop with virtuosity, deep feeling, marvelous strength of character, and a fantastic collective ear for arrangement and texture. – The Herald

Following the release of their first album ever to be distributed outside of Denmark, the young Danish trio Dreamers Circus will be embarking on an eighteen-day tour of the United States. The genre-bending band will play coast-to-coast, with the mission of making folk music a point of departure for their audience. Dreamers Circus are a band that respects the folk music tradition enough to know that it is not a straitjacket. See full list of dates below.

Not your average folk ensemble, Dreamers Circus’ advanced attitude has led them to play stages as diverse as Sydney Opera House and Roskilde Festival, as well as winning five Danish Music Awards for their previous two albums. Their 2013 album A Little Symphony won ‘Album Of The Year’ at the Danish Music Awards – Folk, simultaneously naming Dreamers Circus ‘Talent Of The Year’. Their album to follow in 2015 entitled Second Movement was also awarded ‘Album Of The Year’.

“Our latest album Rooftop Sessions is a result of a very interesting process where everything was open rather than planned or rehearsed in advance. Most of the material is improvised in the studio, and in some way it feels like we didn’t create the album – it just happened. A single frame in the moving picture that is Dreamers’ Circus – giving a hint of where we are today.” – Dreamers’ Circus

Their latest album Rooftop Sessions was internationally licensed with Vertical Records in 2018.
