See The Premiere of “Let ‘Em In” Via THE WALL STREET JOURNAL Interview From New York’s Birdland Via NY1

Mr. Pizzarelli and Mr. McCartney are vocal soul mates who project an unassuming, intimate conversational bonhomie that can be seductive when propelled by a light samba pulse

Early critical praise is pouring in for renowned guitarist John Pizzarelli’s take on the repertoire of Paul McCartney, Midnight McCartney out September 11 via Concord Records. The Wall Street journal says of the song “Let ‘Em In:” “Pizzarelli makes it swing, with splashy hi-hat cymbals, horn accents and a lithe piano part.” The New York Times calls Pizzarelli “a kindred soul to [McCartney].” Read the full New York Times live review here and see below for Pizzarelli’s U.S. dates this fall.
