Red Baraat, the Brooklyn-based dhol ‘n’ brass band, called “a fiery blend of raucous Indian bhangra and funky New Orleans brass” by The Village Voice, have seen a meteoric rise since the January release of their breakthrough album Shruggy Ji, snagging a #1 debut on Billboard’s World Music chart, sell out shows across the country and features in the Wall Street Journal, New York Daily News and NPR’s Weekend Edition and more.
