On the heels of KUTX’s Song Of The Day feature on rising singer-songwriter Sam Morrow, Elmore Magazine and The Alternate Root have premiered the Behind the Scenes album video for his sophomore release, There Is No Map, and the latest single from the record “Girls.”

Elmore writes “Without doubt, Morrow’s freewheeling, experimental attitude, his self-assuredness mixed with self-awareness and his ability to bring people together in a creative environment makes him one of the exciting new fixtures in modern Americana.” Watch the video Here

There Is No Map’s “Girls” has been debuted on The Alternate Root’s Top Ten Songs Of The Week. The Alternate Root writes “On his upcoming release, There is No Map, the words and music mirror an optimism that Sam is seeing, and hearing, in his future.” Check out the song Here

In anticipation of There Is No Map’s release, Sam Morrow will embark on a series of tour dates in New York City, Washington, D.C., Nashville and Los Angeles. More information listed below.

Produced by Eric Corne, who also co-wrote five tracks on the album, There Is No Map boasts a new direction for Morrow, at times outwardly exploring and at times introspective, it inhabits the same space as torchbearers such as Jason Isbell, Hayes Carll and Sturgill Simpson. More ambitious in sound than any of his previous recordings, There Is No Map will be released via Forty Below Records.
