Confirmed U.S. Tour Features Dates With Carolina Chocolate Drops’ Dom Flemons; Band To Host Merlefest’s Midnight Jam

Virginia-based four-piece string band The Steel Wheels have debuted the video for their song “Worn Wool, Soft Leather” on music site The Boot. The song is a featured track on the band’s upcoming album Leave Some Things Behind, out April 14. See the video here:http://bit.ly/1BaUoDb
The Steel Wheels have also confirmed that Dom Flemons, of the Grammy award-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops, will share a co-headlining bill in Nashville, Decatur, Athens and Charleston during their Spring 2015 tour. Full list of tour dates below.
Additionally, The Steel Wheels will host the highly anticipated Saturday Night Midnight Jam at this year’s Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC on Friday April 25. They also play the Hillside stage Saturday. Lead vocalist and guitarist Trent Wagler says “It’s an honor to be invited to host the midnight jam at Merlefest. We hope to help facilitate the kind of musical moments that have made this festival so legendary.”
