Online Recording Platform TunedlyAdds Music Industry Heavyweights Matthew Knowles And Harvey Mason Jr. To Advisory Board

Recently launched digital studio connects music creators with world-class session players

Tunedly, the online platform connecting songwriters and music creators with world-class session musicians has confirmed the additions of music industry icons Matthew Knowles and Harvey Mason Jr. to its Advisory Board. Knowles, father of pop-icons Beyonce and Solange, currently heads Music World Entertainment, a label and publishing company representing Destiny’s Child, Kool & The Gang, Johnny Cash and others. Mason is a Grammy, Billboard Music, and ASCAP Pop award-winning producer and songwriter who has worked with Justin TimberlakeChris BrownJustin BieberKelly Clarkson and Michael Jackson.

“I’ve seen it all when it comes to the music industry,” says Knowles.  “I’m beyond thrilled to be able to help Tunedly’s founding team avoid some of the pitfalls that could otherwise derail their projects.” Mason agreed, “The whole concept of Tunedly is something that I am behind 100%, with it being a win/win all around.  I can’t wait to help Tunedly and its users become even more successful in the music industry.”

Co-founded by musicians Chris Erhardtand Mylène Besançon, the idea for Tunedly’s live collaboration music production platform came from a need to provide better opportunities for those interested in professionally making music, but lacking access to the right talent and resources. The platform currently features a wide roster of studio musicians of all instruments including Grammy Award-winning singer Joel Kibble of the group Take 6, Ian Smith, a renowned saxophonist who has worked with Frank Sinatra Jr. and Barry ManilowCF Burke, a 15 year studio professional with multiple music degrees from top universities and Caleb Allen, a Gospel singer/songwriter who penned multiple Billboard charting songs.

“We’re glad to welcome Harvey and Mathew to our board of advisors,” says Erhardt. “Having access to their extensive knowledge and music industry experience will help Tunedly, as well as Mylène and I as founders, to grow tremendously.”

With the Tunedly Unlimited Plan, songwriters have the option to record as many song demos as they need for a flat rate of $99 per month. The plan also includes perks such as unlimited automated mastering, help with song placements in media, film and TV and a preferred rate for full music production services.

Tunedly has already connected more than 450 songwriters and other music creators with world-class session musicians to complete over 2,500 projects.
